Dawn Chorus Album by Alligator Gozaimasu

                © Thomas Glatz

Alligator Gozaimasu is a band of many voices and sounds. The music collective was founded in 2015 and consists of around 60 sound lovers and musicians from all over the world. It is a fluid body of sound, sometimes lively and buzzing, sometimes quiet and in search of tiny auditory details.

In April 2024, we invited sound researchers and musicians from the ALLIGATOR GOZAIMASU collective to produce songs and soundscapes based on the collected birdcalls.

The result is an album with six tracks, each of which uses a specific recording from the Dawn Chorus archive as the starting point for a musical journey.
